We have a number of Trustee roles coming to an end in 2026 and are therefore seeking nominations to fill these positions on the Board of Trustees.
The positions open for nominations are:
- President
- Museum Representative
- Communications Officer
- Commercial Representative
- Grants Secretary
- Student Representative
- Editor in Chief
- Non-Executive Member and Data Protection Lead

How do I nominate myself?
- Open to all members of the association who paid their membership fees of the current year.
- Deadline: Sunday 19th July 2026
- Send an email to secretary@babao.org.uk with a 250 word statement outlining your interest and suitability for the post.
- All applications must be seconded by a BABAO member, sent via email to secretary@babao.org.uk
The nomination statements will be sent out together with the voting link to the membership. Please only state your name and do not include any further personal information in your statement, as the statement will be shared with our entire membership.
